Chinna Saayam is a voluntary organisation founded by Mrs Kavitha Kemburu, a visionary entrepreneur deeply rooted in the belief that every act of helping, no matter how small, contributes to a larger and lasting change in people’s lives. During her own tough health challenge, she experienced the impact of receiving help from many people. She realised how support can make a huge difference. This experience motivated her to help those in need, discovering that true happiness comes from the spark of a smile on a beneficiary’s face. Over the years, every small act of kindness added to her reservoir of joy, a fulfilment that she feels is best experienced rather than described. Service Day
Once a year, professionals from various fields such as doctors, teachers, software professionals, offer their services for free. This day is about giving back to the community and setting an example of selfless service.
Child Donor
Chinna Saayam believes in instilling the habit of generosity in children from a young age by explaining the concept of helping in whatever little way they can. These tiny steps will build the foundation for a lifelong habit of contributing to the community.
Visits to Orphanages
On special occasions, the team at Chinna Saayam visits orphanages to provide free training sessions in self-defence, meditation and yoga. Clothes and toys donations are also undertaken. We involve our own children in these visits, to help them understand the importance of humility and gain first-hand experiences of kindness to continue good deeds.
Free cataract Operations
With cataract being a major concern, we offer financial assistance to Cataract surgery, every September, to those in need. This initiative aims to restore sight and improve the quality of life for individuals who are unable to afford the complete cost of the procedure.
Activate Promotion
We actively promote our events and initiatives through WhatsApp groups and other social media channels to increase awareness and participation. Additionally, individuals can use these platforms to refer urgent cases, ensuring timely assistance to those in need.
Transparancy
Chinna Saayam is committed to maintaining complete transparency in all its activities. Every detail of donor contributions and how funds are utilized is openly shared. This ensures trust and accountability, showing our donors the direct impact of their support.
